Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton
Four Mile Lake has been a special home to me and my family or over 35 years. Previous to that, my childhood cottage summers were spent on Sturgeon Lake. The Kawartha's with it's beauty and lifestyle can also be part of your life.
Four Mile Lake is located between two different geological land forms. The northern one-third of the lake is on the Canadian Shield, characterized by granite stone. The southern two-thirds is on the Carden Plain, characterized by limestone. Numerous species of fish can be found in the lake. Large and small mouth bass, rock bass, walleye, yellow perch and muskellunge.
